このユニットは前ユニットex.ＳＷＩＴＣＨの後進ユニットとして 2010年から録音を始め、現在まで20枚のアルバムを制作している。Sea of Clouds　の音楽は即興をメインとした無国籍ノンジャンルミュージック。 ほぼ全ての生楽器を演奏し、そこにシンプルな機械音やノイズを加えている。
