Long hot summer 1987

It was also long hot summer 1987. Every weekend we gathered the Rock cafe bar called 'SONGBIRD'. The Bar located Tsudanuma. According to Wikipedia it is a residential area, largely by virtue of being a commuter suburb of Tokyo. It is mentioned in Haruki Murakami's novels 1Q84 and Sputnik Sweetheart. My uncle and cousin lived very near Tsudanuma JR (used to be National Railway) station, I knew that area since I was a child. There was no such musical scene around Tsudanuma where too near to Tokyo. Everybody goes to Tokyo for fun night life. I knew KUROISHI the guy used to go to SONGBIRD. I knew him from high school, we were good friends along with Yasuro Yokodate who later play guitar at BLUE 439. First time we went to SONGBIRD when I was 17 with Yasuro. First we afraid that Master of SONGBIRD will not accept us enter the Bar because of our age. Maybe he was too busy making famous SONGBIRD's fried noodle, he did not notice 17 year old kids sneaking into the Bar. We had good time and so many memories there. Don't worry I will write abou you and memories are coming back. I tried to make so many songs since I met all people at SONGBIRD. Dreaming some day my vinyl LP record would be on the disorganized record rack.
