初期のファーイースティンでこの曲をやっていた。

2018年にもう一度レコーディングしようと思って、

今回はアコースティックバージョンにしてみた。

歌詞も元々あったSFのディストピア感に、現実に起こったあの2011年の大震を重ねた。

多くの人にとって、あの事は忘れられない、忘れてはならない出来事になった。

自分の中で整理をつけるために、最後のコーラスを付け加えた。

原曲は、Slippedというタイトルだったが、途中からNaked Sunにした。

このタイトルは、

アイザック・アシモフのSF小説から取られた。

よく、ロンドンのソーホーで

ハンギングアラウンド(たむろ)していて、

ルパートストリートとか、

レキシントンストリートとか？

忘れたけど、

屋台がいっぱい出ていた。

そんな中、ジェイムス という青年がやっていた古本屋台で

そいつと仲良くなって、

古本をよく買ってた ^_^

元々、フィリップKディックが好きだった私に、

「ＰKディックは頭がおかしいから、英語の勉強にならない

…ちゃんと古典SFを読んだ方がいい」と言われて、

アシモフとかハインラインとかの中古本を僕に売りつけてた^_^

ハインラインの「夏への扉」は、

すべての愛すべき猫たちのイメージと重なって、すごく好きな小説だ。

この小説との出会いが、ベルギーで飼っていた？(同居していた)ポンポンや、

ミョミョやチェリーの愛猫たちとの日々を思い出させたり、インスピレーションの元になったりしている。

歌詞のイマジナリーな世界と現実世界で言えば、自分は千葉の稲毛生まれなので、

稲毛海岸に頻繁に行っていた。

その昔、東京湾は汚かった。

稲毛海岸から、ずうっと向こうの工場地帯の煙突から煙が出ていたり、ゴミとか散らばってたし。

もちろん、プールとかあって、友達とよく行ったけど。

そんな海岸のイメージと福島と帰郷とかが混ざり合って、生まれた曲。

そういえば、「工業海岸のオペラ」なんていうタイトルで、短編小説書いたな^_^

あの原稿どこに行ったのかな？

We used to play this song while we were the four piece band of early fureasteen.

This time I tried to make it an acoustic version 2018.

the original lyrics of the sense of dystopia of the SF were superimposed the essence of

The 2011 great earthquake.

That things became an unforgettable and must not forget event in our life.

I added the last chorus to keep things organized within me.

The original song was titled ‘Slipped’, but I changed it to ‘Naked Sun’.

This title was taken from Isaac Asimov's science fiction novel.

Well I used to hang around in Soho,London.

Rupert Street or Lexington Street I forgot.

There were a lot of stalls out on the market place.

At one of the used book stand where the young man named James owned.

I got along with him and I used to buy old books. lol

I was big fan of Philip K dick, the Science Fiction Writer.

To me, James said "PK dick is crazy, so if you study English.

It is better to read the classic SF novel."

So he sold me a used book of Asimov or Heinlein. ^ _ ^

Robert Heinlein’s “The Door into Summerr" is a very favorite novel,

superimposed on the images of all the lovable cats.

Encounter of this novel became my source of inspiration of all of lovecat novel.

It reminds me of my days with ‘Pompom: Siamese cat’, ‘Myommyo’ and ‘Cherry’

Speaking of the imaginative world of the lyrics and the real world,

I was born in Inage in Chiba and I used to go to the Inage coast of Tokyo Bay frequently.

Long ago, Tokyo Bay was dirty.

From the Inage Coast, We saw smoke was coming out of the chimneys of the factory area,

and there were garbage and debris.

Of course, I often went to the swimming pool nearby with my friends.

A song created by mixi-up emotion for my hometowns and other elements.

Speaking of which, I wrote a short story with the title

"Opera on the Industrial Coast" lol

The Sun has slipped into my days and heated my ice blocks.

The Sun has slipped into my life and all melt down.

Some night in my dreaming I go down to the sea-shore.

Nobody goes there, it is dangerous, going there is a careless thing to do.

But I heard happy laughter from that side.

I’ve heard the cheerful music from that dead sea.

The town seems so shallow when I got back.

People saying to me What a hell I am doing here now?

I feel so sorry when they told me.

‘the snow in March is very rare these days’

Here was the snow covers you and my atomic heart.

We used to watch the gentle tide on the white beach.

When you were with me, I put my face onto your pillow.

I hope I can see your dream in my vision.

But it never tells me what should I do.

The dream lied to me what shouldn’t I do.

No regret until the day shook us up and down.

We see everything swallowed into the big grey ocean.

I have slipped into the Naked Sun.
