93年から96年までの私の音楽はいわゆるピークの時期を迎えている。

通常のソングライティングだけでなくエクスペリタル・

ミュージックへの傾倒が強くなっていった。

93年頃、ロンドンに住んでいた。

それこそ、ピカソフィッシュの音源を持って、

シルバートーンレコードのオフィスで、

ギターを探していたSpacemen3のソニックブームのとこに、

オーディションに行ったりした。

この頃はブリットポップをやるか、アンダーグランド音楽、

またはクラブ音楽の方向性が巷に溢れていた。

でも自分は、ゴスバンドを組んで、ガレージで練習してた (笑）

僕の黒い長髪が良かったようだ(笑）

少し長くなるので、かいつまんで話すが、

最初はヘビーな感じのミニマルロックを目指していた

NOVA(super novaね、英会話学校じゃなくて)は、

スコティッシュのチャールス・ホルムズとの出会いから始まった。

私はベースと歌担当で、もう一人のファブリスと3人のドラムレスのバンドだった。

チャールス(チェズ)は、髪が短いとまるでジョイ・ディヴィジョンのイアンカーテスみたいだった。

そうでないと、パルプのジャーヴィスかな (笑）

その後にファブリスが抜けて、2人でドラムレスバンドで、

ケンティシュタウンのブル&ゲイトというライブハウスで

コンスタントにライブをやる。

その頃には、exitという名前に改名して、

すっかり実験音楽のニューカマーみたいに言われた。

ノイズテロリストなんて言われて、いろんなバンドの前座をしてた。^_^

すげぇ寂れたパブで、ヒットする前のPlaceboの前座なんてあったね。

少ししてから、Chezとは仲が良かったけど、

完全インストの歌がない実験音楽ではない方向性を探して、

初期ファーイースティンを始める。

メンバーは、トシオとサクラちゃん、コダマくんの3人。

ベースと歌は自分、トシオがギター、サクラちゃんにキーボードと

コダマくんにはドラムをやってもらった。

実験音楽にもう少しポップさを入れた、ステレオラブ的なポストロックな感じ。

でも、みんなそんなに楽器が上手くなかったから、初期トーキングヘッズとかの感じかな？

毎週日曜日にキングズクロスの

ノースダウンストリートのボロフラットで練習した。

このメンバーからマジックが生まれたと今でも思ってる。

そんな時に書いた曲がディスコード！

ソニックユースとか、みんなで見にいったから、影響バチバチ^_^

若いって、面白い^_^

でもハートはいつまでも若くいよう^_^

My music from 1993 to 1996 has reached a so-called peak time.

Not only regular song writing are somehow improved

but also the emphasis on experiential music became stronger.

Around 1993 I stayed in London.

I was allowed to visit and met so many people.

With my tape of an audio source from Picasso Fish

I went to the audition at the Silver Tone Records office.

Silver Boom of Spacemen 3 looking for a guitarist.

Around this time, there were so many Britpop band,

underground music,

or the direction of club music on the scene.

But I joined the local goth band once

and we practiced in the dirty garage where the vocalist owned. lol

It seems that my black long hair was suitable.

LOL

It will be a little longer, so

I will tell you just briefly.

NOVA (Supernova, not English conversation school in Japan),

which was like Minimal rock with heavy guitar at the beginning.

It began with an encounter with Scottish man, Charles Holms.

I was a bass player and singing, Fabrice was guitar.

three drum-less bands.

Charles (Chez) had a short hair and he looked like Ian Curtis of Joy Division.

Otherwise,he will be Jarvis Cocker of PULP.

After Fab left, we became two fabrice drum-less band.

By the time we had been doing a constant live performance at ‘Bull & Gate’ in Kentish town.

It was a great pub!!!

We called ourself to "exit" and totally welcomed for being a newcomer on experimental music.

We teased by calling ‘The Noise terrorists’, we performed as a front act for many bands. LOL

And in shabby local pub in South London we had once play

as the front act ‘Placebo’ before they became famous.

After a while, I was in good shape with Chez,

but I'm looking for a direction that is not experimental music without a fully instrumental song,

and started early FUREASTEEN.

The members are Toshio, Sakura-chan and Kodama-kun.

I played the bass and the singing.

Guitar by Toshio, and keyboard on Sakura-Chan and a drum by Kodama-kun.

We liked Stereolab and other So-called Post-rock, bit little more pop in experimental music.

But everyone wasn't so good at the instrument,

so We were like very early Talking Heads.

Every Sunday We practiced at my place in NorthDown Street, King's Cross

I still think that magic was born from this member.

The song I wrote at that time ‘DisKord’!!!

Because everyone went to see Sonic Youth, so the sound we were affectionate to them.

Youth time is full of fun. ^ _ ^

Now I getting old but let's keep the heart young forever ^ _ ^
