Funny faceオードリーヘップバーンと ピカソフィッシュ

1990年？1991年？
わたしは一回目のヨーロッパ滞在を終えて、日本に帰ってきた。
この後、またヨーロッパへ
放蕩息子の旅は続くのだが…
たぶん、ビザの関係もあるし、両親に不義理もしていたし、
一度帰って、じっくり話しをしようなんて考えていたのかも。
ソングバードに戻って、マスターとかと話したり、パンダさんに
ソングバードギターをリペアしてもらったりして過ごしていた。
例のジャズマスターソングバードギターは、ヨーロッパでピックアップのところが、
断線してしまって、電気に強いと言っていたベルギーの友達に、
はんだごてで断線してるところを直してもらったのだが^_^
パンダさんに、
「伊達、何やったんだ！配線が逆になってるぞ！」と叱られた^_^
通りで、フィードバックばっかりしてたわ！
そのうち、何かのきっかけで、シェフィールド出身のDavid Harrisと意気投合して、
レコーディングユニットのピカソフィッシュを結成した。
ヨーロッパで書きためた曲やデヴィッドの曲に歌詞をつけたりしてレコーディングした。
そして、たぶんだけど、プレーヤーマガジンに広告を出して、
ベースプレーヤーのあっちゃん(Atsushi Tamagawa)と出会った。
あっちゃんとは、その後、ロンドンで再会して、
キルバーンやキングクロスで一緒に住んでいた。
それは、次回にゆっくり語ろうかな。
ピカソフィッシュはライブ演奏まで至らなかった。
でも、このホームレコーディングプロジェクトは、すごく気に入っていて、
デヴィッドのソングライティングやギタープレイには影響を受けた。
そうなんだよ、Dave!
そんなピカソフィッシュが終わった頃に、
この曲を書いていたが、中々レコーディングまで行かなくて、
最終的には、第2回目の渡英の時、
あっちゃんの8トラックレコーダーで録音した。
おかしな顔
というタイトルは
オードリーヘップバーン主演のパリの恋人(Funny face)から。
ちょっぴりセンチメンタルなおしゃれな映画。
そんな感じが出てくれたらと軽いサウンドだけど、
歌詞は良く見ると、おいおいヘビーだな^_^
また、失恋してたなトムくんよ！

I came back to Japan after my first European stay.
After this, I was going back to stay in Europe again.
The journey of the prodigal son continues ...
Probably I had a visa relationship, I also had my parents insisted,
Maybe I was thinking about going home and talking with them for the future.
I came back to Songbird in Tsudanuma, I talked to Master of Songbird what I was doing and so on.
and I had my Songbird guitar repaired by PANDA-san.
My Jazz master Songbird Guitar was once broken, the pickup was disconnected.
My Belgium friend who thinks he can repair everything tried mending the disconnection with the soldering iron ^ _ ^
Panda-san was shouting, "Date, what did you do! The Pick-up wiring is reversed!"
Well, well, well…I was wondering why my guitar always feedbacking!
In the meantime, I had met David Harris from Sheffield and we formed the recording unit called [Picasso fish].
We recorded the song I wrote in Europe and I put lyrics on David's songs and recorded.
Perhaps, I advertised the Player magazine and I met Atsushi Tamagawa of the bass player.
After that, we met again in London and lived together in Kilburn and King Cross.
Let's speak it about it next time.
[Picasso fish] did not reach the live performance.
But I really liked this home recording project
I was influenced by David's songwriting and guitar play.
That's true, Dave!
About the end of the stay in Japan and [Picasso fish], I wrote this song.
But I did not finish up and recording.
Eventually when I went to the second time in England,
I recorded this song with Atchan 's 8 track recorder.

The title is…From the movie title “Paris' lover” starring Audrey Hepburn.
Slightly sentimental fashionable movie.
Despite such a light sound comes out, see my lyrics well…
